ABOUT
SHARYN MACEREN
(SHARE•in muh-SARE-in)
SHARYN Maceren is a defining voice in freestyle dance music, part of the core lineage of artists rooted in the West Coast. Alongside Jocelyn Enriquez, Angelina, Buffy, M:G, and SF Spanish Fly, her music became a staple of the Bay Area freestyle era—circulating through mixtapes, radio, and the culture that defined the sound.
A Filipino-American artist, SHARYN broke through with her debut single “Hard to Get” (The S Factor Version), a freestyle anthem that landed on Billboard charts alongside major artists including Mariah Carey, Missy Elliott, and Usher—and went on to build her career through consistent releases, writing her own music and earning lasting support from DJs and fans who continue to carry her sound forward.
With five full-length albums to her name, SHARYN now returns with her latest single, “Every Time We Pray”—already gaining strong traction across radio and with DJs—leading a new wave of Classic × Future freestyle anthems and bringing her signature sound to stages on the “SHARYN Maceren — DreamLIFE Tour.”
